Many people are aware of how helpful meditation can be for stress management, and that is certainly a wonderful use for the techniques you will learn here.
But did you know, meditation can offer so much more than just relief from the effects of stress?
Meditation brings silence, stillness and clarity.
Harmony throughout your body and mind.
It opens a doorway inside to connect to the part of yourself beyond the endless chatter of the mind.
This workshop series includes meditation and relaxation techniques designed to help you take time out, recuperate your energy; and reconnect with yourself.
A great way to honour yourself as you start the new year.
The first two classes will focus on relaxation and letting go with practices lying down.
The final three classes will focus on meditation in a sitting posture.
Do I need to have done any meditation before?
No. Whilst the focus will be on beginner meditators, they are suitable for everyone from complete beginners through to experienced meditators.
Are there minimum age requirements?
This event requires stillness and silence, so is suitable for adults and young adults (> 14 yrs).
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is plenty of free street parking near the clinic.
What should I bring into the event?
Please bring a blanket to cover yourself, a pillow to sit on and a mat (e.g. yoga mat or roll mat) or second blanket to lie on.
Can I just drop in for one class?
